This listing is for a cloth face mask. This particular mask is a fitted mask, that includes a pocket for a filter if necessary. The mask is made up of two layers of 100% cotton material, with the inner layer being very tightly woven.

Cloth face masks are not be intended to replace medical grade equipment. They are not approved by the FDA for any sort of protection against anything. The CDC and the FDA are NOT on the same page about this, so please keep that in mind. The CDC, and several other agencies, are pushing for cloth masks because they are absolutely better than nothing (studies showing at least 40% better than nothing).
